  Yes Spectacular views via the train and Sky Rail , all was a tour most of the time was waiting 1 hour before train departure then hanging around in Kuranda for 3 hours , very little to do then again great views on the Sky rail but hanging around at the end for bus to return us to Hotel

  The 1hr30 train ride through the tropical rain forest felt like 15mins because we loved every sections of it. Truly spectacular views of the rain forest, the valleys below and the vista of the coastline. There were many twists and turns & tunnels, making this ride on the historic train a memorable and enjoyable experience - a must do if you're in Cairns.

  Second time around (25 years later) and it still hasn't lost its charm. Old-time carriages, good commentary and stunning scenery.

  It is a good experience but we thought it was expensive. Seats are benches so if you go when it is very busy could get a little cosy. We enjoyed coming back down in the cable cars more.
