  Lovely helpful staff, we came in on the night of a private function and they were so nice and attentive, especially considering how busy the restaurant was. We were also offered the option to move tables to one next to the giant fish tank when one became avaliable.

  The Moreton bay angel hair pasta was really good. The mud crab ravioli was not very nice. Maybe just personal taste but the bisque was really strong and overpowering and small serving size. Loved watching the fish though.

  Thumbs up to friendly staff. Thumbs down to food. After hearing good reviews, we had a group lunch there today. There was quite a long delay with orders arriving. When they did arrive, the starters of breads was fine but the mains terrible. For example 4 of us ordered the calamari with hand cut potato chips. It was the worst calamari dish we have had, the size of each ring was less than 2cms and there was more batter than calamari itself. The chips were not made fresh and had that taste of being in the freezer for too long. The salad was just a few thin slices of tomato, with a couple of pieces of cheese and dressing. Overall, a disappointing experience.

  I went here with my team from work for our Christmas break up dinner. Heard many reviews, was really looking forward to the experience. When we arrived, our waiter, Peter, was lovely, he showed us the table "lighting" system. Green means service, make the light green if you want to order food or drinks. We had our light on for 25 mins! Eventually, we tried the old fashioned way of calling a waiter over.... Back on track with our drink and meal orders.... The gnocchi was incredibly overpriced for what it was, a delicious buttery mash potato, asked for a steak cooked medium, which was cooked well done and cost $45! Plus the ravioli mud crab, which smelt like Trinity Wharf when the trawlers come in. Was really disappointed actually. This restaurant will rely on the locals long term, if things don't get better, I can't see the "Aqualuna" brand lasting for long. Sorry guys... Not the best experience!! Our waiter however, was absolutely lovely, I'm sure he felt a bit disheartened when he received our feedback and Peter did everything in the end to please us, he was very attentive towards our table and we received a small discount on our final bill. Thank you Peter, AquaLuna is very lucky to have you!!!

  We arrived late in the night dropping in for a drink and check out the fish tank in the restaurant. The night manager was very attentive as soon as we arrived and got our drinks. The waitress Cara, her personality and service was most impressive. She stopped to ensure we were ok and had a enjoyable conversation. Please convey our thanks to the night manager for his excellent service and also to Cara for her excellent service. We will be returning and will ensure to recommend this restaurant to our friends ... Top service and top staff... thank you
