Great enthusiastic staff in the newly refurbished building and displays. Very good to see history being preserved.

I'm sure the volunteers at the Cairns Museum work hard, and the building costs money to run, but like the Cairns Regional Gallery it should be free to enter and people doing a "free" architectural tour of Cairns' buildings should not be slugged with an $8 museum entrance fee when the point of the tour is to view architecture, not museum exhibits.
