  In summary, I will personally never do business with this company again, nor recommend it to anyone else. Reasons are simple, I personally felt deceived and they really didn't show any flexibility or willingness to help their clients. Their quote were essentially the same to 3 other quotes I got so there is no advantage on that aspect either.

  Recently enlisted the help of Allied Pickfords Cairns for a removal job to go to Sydney. Communication was good and prompt which was the good aspect initially, and together with the reputation of Allied Pickford Group and competitive quote (essentially the same as 3 other quotes i got) I decided to go ahead.

  I felt deceived as it was clearly communicated that I needed the delivery to be done in a specific week when someone was specifically made available all week to receive the delivery. AP Cairns could have made the effort to check the delivery date and if it was not going to fall within the requested then don't take on the job, since they obviously had the ability to check on the delivery date but chose not to pass on that information!!!

  Even after that, I made a request that every effort should be made to deliver the goods within the specified week (which I emphasised to all readers was all within the 2-3 weeks time frame so it wasn't unreasonable).

  Prior to booking I specifically mentioned I needed my furnitures delivered in a specific week (not a specific day) so that's time frame of 5 working days. I was informed it's usually 2-3 weeks to arrive in Sydney and couldn't be any more specific than that. As 2-3 weeks would fall within my specified week I thought it would be fine so went ahead and booked. From booking to pick up it was 1-2 business days, and interestingly immediately after pick up I received an email to give me a delivery day, which fell outside of my specified week but squarely on the 3 week mark. This is the most frustrating part as somehow it had gone from "can't specify any specific delivery date" to being able to do so immediate after pick up was done, and from booking to pick up it was only one working day in between so a lot changed in that one business day!!!

  I am so pleased I chose to move with allied pickfords for the second time. The first time it was a great service and only a couple of very minor things got damaged which is really to be expected on a major move so I thought I'd use them again as they stuck to their booking and took good care of everything. This time not one item was damaged at all nor was either premises getting everything in and out. I really don't know how they do it? Will definitely be sticking with them for any future moves.

  Recently had a move from cairns to regional south australia. Allied pickfords relocated my furniture and car. Absolutely fantastic. Everything delivered on time and in perfect condition. Staff were friendly and efficient. Will definitely recommend them and no hesitation to use them in the future. Well done and thank you !

  At the receiving depot in Sydney, goods arrived on the week before my specified week but contact wasn't made with me until 2-3 days later. By that stage they said could only delivered on the day it was initially booked, despite my plea on how important it was for us to be delivered prior to that. I even offer to pay extra for them to be delivered on a Sat (a service which was commonly offered by other removalists) but to no avail, only on the day it was booked initially.
