  Absolutely disgusted with this place. We booked our room back in May and paid $150 for a studio room. The room we have been given is so terrible that we will drive over 2 hours to a family's home so we don't have to sleep here as Cairns is fully booked. No images of a room like this is anywhere online. No manager on site from 4pm when the place is fully booked. Beware of this hotel and what you are booking.

  Good location. Easy walk to esplanade. The hotel itself was nice: reception staff pleasant, small swimming pool, bbq, jacuzzi, all adequate. However, we stayed in room 602 as short term let for 2 weeks. The place was nothing like shown in the photos. Cheap furnitures. Small hot plate right next to the wardrobe so you can’t really cook unless you want all your clothes to smell like a takeaway. There was not enough utensils even if you do risk cooking there. Curtains partly fallen out. No cleaning, no new towels or linen as you have to wash yourself. It was worse than some backpacker but you would have to pay a lot more than the backpackers. Plenty other options for the price.

  Nice clean rooms at a good price. Reception was very helpful booking tours and activities.

  Call ST hotel, Last minute due to issue with booking at another hotel. Reception very friendly and helpful. Booked an ocean view room modern but basic. Was quite and relaxed. Used the pool on the ground floor out the back a few time. Lovely sunshine all day. Dumpling restaurant was pretty good as well. Free car parking and internet. Although I could not get internet on 6 the floor. Recommended for basic stay. Kitchenette to small to stay more than a few days in my opinion.
