  Amazing buffet and the view from the function room was amazing. The only downside was the aboriginal and Australian flag were incredibly tatty with material pulled away. The renovations have really been great, but just the flags let the hotel down for me. The flags were directly outside the function room so edge glaringly obvious.

  Checked in by a guy who watched me struggle to get my bag up the steps (why no ramp?), bad-mouthed his colleagues, and then made racist comments about all his Asian/Indian guests. A fine welcome... Soured the whole experience. No room service, probably good, because I threw up after having the breakfast buffet. Bed was barely acceptable. Everything seemed to go wrong. The rest of the staff were great, and are the only reason this isn't a one star review. Is management asleep at the wheel? Or was my experience was an unusual aberration? All I know is, after comments like that, they won't get another cent out of me...
