    Good location. Reasonable breakfast (sometimes items run out). Slow internet.

    Great location on the esplanade. Healthy walk to peir, but plenty of good places close by esp. Elixer for drinks, food and music. Aquarium around the corner.

    Beware of the showers. The water flow is adequate for a drinking fountain not a shower. Add to that, the temperature will arbitrarily cycle from scalding hot to warm on its own. Complained but no fix. Worse, no feedback or apology.

    Definitely a hotel for families. I was traveling alone and had a room with one queen bed and 2 singles. Great views of the ocean and close to the Esplanade restaurants. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I was only in Cairns so I could go to the Great Barrier Reef. Cairns is more for traveling families than the solo traveler.

    Nice spacious room with a great view. Has a coin operated laundry room and free parking. Walking distance to the city centre and pier for Great Barrier Reef cruises.
