  I would never ever use this jeweller again. We purchased a ring from Melbourne and being locals - we took the ring to Prouds to have re-sized. We were promised that the inscription would remain intact and when we collected the ring the inscription was gone. This was only the start of our problems. When we go the ring home we noticed that one of the diamond was not sitting in its setting correctly. So we took it to another jewellery for a 2nd opinion. He said that the ring had not been re-sized correctly and it was poor workmanship. Due to the poor workmanship the diamonds were actually loose. When we went back to Prouds to ask them to fix it - The manager was rude, aggressive and said that we had 'taken the ring elsewhere' and that is where the problem had been made. We had only owned the ring for 2 weeks - it was in perfect condition and then after being in the hands of prouds; the diamonds were loose and the ring looked unfinished. We eventually argued with Prouds and they 'fixed the ring' only to get it back still looking rough and unfinished for the 2nd time. We didn't even want to bother with them again. We took the ring elsewhere to be fixed - and luckily we did as the new jeweller said we were so lucky that our 2 week old ring that came with a lifetime warranty on workmanship was about to lose 1 of its diamonds. We should have sent the ring back to the original jeweller in the first place.... Never Ever shopping at Prouds Jewellers again....

  Customer service poor. Just the first time I went there was served by Margaret, she's so kindly and helped a lot, really nice personality. Back few weeks later, unfortunately she was not there!! All other two staff was very poor service, no smile, no attention to my requests and questions. not recommended that shop.
