    Bought a mattress and bed frame from Fantastic Furniture Cairns totalling $1270. The mattress had to be ordered and was put on my receipt ETA up to three weeks. They said I would receive a text message to arrange delivery once the mattress arrived in store. Three weeks passed and still no text message. So I called to ask where my mattress was. The lady on the phone said there was a delay with their mattress delivery and that the truck was due to arrive at some point that day and I should expect the text message within the next couple of days. 5 days later still no text. So I went into the store to see what was going on with my order. I asked to speak to the manager, a guy named Jarred. I explained what had happened to him and he told me that the delivery truck was split into two loads and that they received one last week and that one would be arriving this week. When I asked why I wasn't called to be informed of this, his reply was "Your order must have slipped through the cracks because all the other customers were notified"

    Brought a dinning set online. Got an email to tell me that it was ready to be picked up from the warehouse. When I picked it up the staff at the warehouse told me that a chair was missing front the setting. Was told it would take up 10 days to order in a replacement chair. We'll past the 10 days. Only call I have received from them was about the poor review I gave them on the online survey.

    All in all, a very disappointing experience and I would not recommend going here at all unless you enjoy being screwed around.

    Returns Policy deceptive. Wanted to exchange an unused $89 mattress still sealed in its plastic to buy a better one but they refused, even though it's written on the receipt "We will exchange within 60 days if the product is in its original condition". Claimed the mattress non-exchange policy was in a booklet which was attached to the receipt?

    I was quite upset with this so asked for a full refund and told him I would take my business elsewhere. So we started the refund process... No surprise, he couldn't refund the money to my card and tried to blame me and my card for the issue. "System Error 13 means that it has something to do with the card. We have been processing payments all morning with no trouble" was his reply to why it wasn't working. So when I asked how I was going to get my money back, he told me he could contact HO and they could process a cheque to be mailed out to me, or that he would call me later when they had that much money in the store and he would give me a cash refund. I opted for the second option stating that it would be a coincidence for them to "say they would post a cheque out" but most likely they wouldn't.

    Furniture is great but the people working there would rather chat than assist you. I had to ask for help twice before any help was offered and then it was minimal.

    Service was okay, but you can definitely tell they're salesmen. Range of bedding was definitely below average.
