  3rd time here. $ ready to buy ... and waited... and waited. Over 30 min for service. When we Asked for assistance the response was .. there is someone out back at the moment but he is a bit too busy ... so off to JBHIFI we went to spend our $1k +. Won’t be there a 4th time.

  There are a lot of staff here, most of whom are friendly, however the service at the counters can be very slow. I visited on a day when the entire store was pretty much empty except for a couple of customers in one particular section. My experience was that most of the staff members in that section stood around avoiding eye contact while one or two people helped potential customers. Perhaps the counter I was at isn't their department and therefore they aren't expected to help. But that is a weakness. Everyone should be able to help everywhere in the store, if and when necessary. If you move onto the floor and it looks as though you might be interested in buying something, the staff become more helpful.

  A lot of stuff on display, but you can't always get what you want (just like the song). I've often found that the stuff on special is out of stock, and you end up buying something more expensive. Wonder if that's my fault or their plan? But staff are attentive, friendly, and it's a great store to buy Computer parts. Just kinda wished they we're a bit more up front with stock levels... Let me check that for you... mmm... no sorry, none in stock.

  I recently dealt with the new franchisee on the Sofa department as I had an issue with a product that although was out of warranty I was looked after very well. I would like to thank Danial for a favourable outcome that I feel was very fair and I would like to say you can shop with confidence at Hervey Norman in Cairns as this guy knows what customer service is and you get well looked after. After this great experience I will always be shopping here for all my future needs as I feel you are looked after properly, again thank you.
