  Car service was conducted without unexpected issues being raised and within the estimated cost as discussed at the time of booking. That was in itself a pleasant surprise, since this was the first time using Midas Cairns, and they seemed a little "slick" at first contact.

  Took my car in for a 180k logbook service. Thought I would try them out as I have heard such great news about them, only to find out that they wrecked my car even more, it was more like a rushed job, with immature apprentice kids who need a older person to guide them through what they are doing, not just leaving them alone to do it themselves. Worst place for a car service, my car when I went to pick it up, drove it only out of their Midas driveway and then my car lights started flashing, on the dashboard meaning that something was wrong with my engine. I took it straight back, they just moved a few wires around as the guy forgot to connect it back in properly. Next day, I start my car and all of this smoke starts coming out of the exhaust pipes, so I take it back in and they say to me that it's because it cold in the morning, like we are in Cairns you dipshit, my car doesn't get cold. Anyways, he says he will take a look at it, only to make the problem worst. I am seeking legal advice, these businesses in Cairns, are not reliable in delivering real car serving instead they do it so you go back in to get things fixed so they can rip you off, don't take your vehicle into this place, they are scammers, and will only try to do what's best for their own pockets not yours.

  Hands down the most efficient affordable mechanics I’ve experienced in cairns. I had a page and a half of things inspected and fixed on our Subaru including the timing belt, and I received my car back 5 hours later. They have fantastic customer service, including showing you all the parts they change. I will only use Midas cairns from now on
