  Advice is to never use this service department and don't be fooled by their own veiled threats that they use on my 80+ you mother in law, as your warrenty is not void of you take it to Ultratune.

  I took my wife’s Forester here for them to service it and have a look at why the engine and cruise control lights were staying on. They came back to me and said that a couple of brake callipers and rotors need replacing, the brake pads were down to 10% and the brake switch needed replacing. They gave me a quote for around $1700 and insisted that I didn’t drive the car home. Since they didn’t have the parts and I didn’t have $1700, excluding the 400 I just parted with for the service, I had to sign a waiver saying that I knew the car is unsafe to drive and they take no responsibility, fair enough. Car gets rebooked in for a couple of weeks time. I get back there and they informed me that the quote for $1700 was for labor only and the parts were around $3400, so I took it to another mechanic for a second opinion. He found no problem with the brake callipers or rotors, pads were 60%, car was safe to drive. They completely lied to me, almost cost me over 5k, got out of it for $150. I wonder how many people are getting ripped off by them and this criminal behaviour, SPREAD THE WORD!!!!

  The service is fine, but I am giving a low score because when you collect your vehicle the service guys tell you to do the Survey and you must give "nothing less than a 9 or 10". Anything else is a 0. (does this make sense...no). Pathetic waste of my time
