  Lack of common sense by staff, and also received rude service by an employee of a coffee shop at the end of the departures hall. One set of bags of our party were 5m away from the main group to keep out of the way of other travellers. Employee asked if the bags belonged to anyone, and people in our group said yes and offered to move them with the main group. She said no and proceeded to call security and apparently police, and a call was made over the P.A for one of the group to come from the other side of the airport to move a bag 5m. The employee then laughed at members of the group who's bag it was, stating it was "common sense" and there were announcement about unattended baggage. In the 2 hours prior that we were at the airport there were no announcements and zero signage in the terminal. Compared to Launceston, there are signs everywhere and announcements constantly. After raising this, we noticed there were announcement every 30 minutes. Another staff member came out of his way to be aggressive and threatening about the issue at hand After the incident, there were other bags being left unattended for extended (and longer) periods of time, of which we have go pro video footage of. Understandable that it is an offence to leave unattended baggage, but the unprofessional, uninformative and inconsistent service provided was appalling.

  The domestic airport is perfectly adequate. There is some decent restaurants and a couple shops. The cafes outside the terminal are very expensive though and aren't fairly priced.

  Domestic & International terminals are both easy to get through and have lots of shops, However the domestic terminal barley has any windows (except for Qantas club)

  The international airport has mediocre facilities. There is a bar and one restaurant in the terminal. There are a few shops but not much on offer.

  The food at Tribs cafe was disgusting. Undercooked, soggy wedges, powered eggs for breaky, and a measly steak sandwich. Avoid if possible.

  Clean airport with unique decorations that feel bright and welcoming. The signs/directions are less than obvious, if not somewhat misleading, but staff and employees throughout the airport are both helpful and friendly.
