Kitchen, bathroom and shower areas are readily accessible and well-maintained. Bar adjacent to the building is lively with young travelers.

Nice staff, big rooms and a lovely terrace for socializing with other people. The free dinner is great but portion sizes are a bit small. Clean and fairly big showers. Would go back :)

I had only stayed for one night so I've limited experience. It's was alright, the showers were hot, sheets clean, toilets clean. My complaints aren't too much different from everyone else's. It's located above a bar so the sound does leak into the rooms when trying to sleep. You'll also definitely hear the cars driving in the morning commute. Lastly the sheets felt like cardboard. All in all, location was convenient, definitely felt like a city hostel

The hostel is really friendly and a greatcllace to meet people. You get free tea which is usually alright, but isn't massive portions. The rooms are cleaned pretty well every day and are pretty big, and the sheets you get are decent if a little big for the beds. The staff are great and the events which are usually run by Chris - who's really nice - are good fun and offer $100 bar tabs to the winner which is great. The toilets are fine and the showers are decent too, with plenty of room. The kitchen is okay too, with plenty of free condiments etc, and you can get a crockery set for a $10 deposit at the reception. Prices are decent too - $16 ok weekdays, going up to $29 for weekends, but as am average it's pretty cheap. Well worth staying - it's pretty close to the main shops, bars and other useful places.

You get what you pay for. It's cheap, but also very loud. They make it better by giving a free dinner, but you might also want to consider other options for food.
